Once a month, we gather on Discord Stage for a 60-minute session. One person shares the real story behind their work in tech — not the polished version, but the one with the doubt, the detour, and the thing they almost gave up on. Then the floor opens up.

Every two weeks, someone shares a failure — a project that flopped, a collaboration that fell apart, an assumption that was wrong — and what they learned from it. Most communities only celebrate wins. The losses are where the real lessons live.

We believe some of what we build should be shared, open, and for the public good. Commons Projects are collaborative, open-source initiatives that the community builds together — tools, frameworks, and resources that serve people beyond just our members.

Each month, we highlight tech stories from a different region — amplifying voices, projects, and perspectives that don’t usually get the stage. Starting with Lagos and expanding outward to East Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and beyond.
